Jon Brown Wins 2021 Northwest Amateur

Jon Brown of Adel, IA is the 2021 Northwest Amateur Tournament Champion! Brown got off to a hot start with a nine under par 63 on Friday for his first round, followed by a second round 68, a third round 71, then ending with a 36 on the final 9 holes (14 under par).

Dennis Bull of Norwalk, IA made a great effort to catch Brown, coming up just one stroke behind with outstanding play of 69-68-69-33 (13 under par).

Jon is also the 1992 Northwest Amateur champion, the two wins being 29 years apart! Thank you to all golfing participants, volunteers, tournament committee and SGCC staff for making it a memorable weekend. We hope to see you all next year for the 100th annual tournament to be hosted August 4th-7th, 2022!
